Renter: What are the coverage limits on my Jetty Protect plan?

Below is a quick summary of what we offer and what we can/cannot remove:

• Deductibles: offered at $250, $500, $1000, $2500
• This is how much you would be responsible for in the event you file a claim. Higher deductibles can lower the cost of your plan, but also mean you would get paid less in the event of a claim.

• Contents (Everyday Belongings): offered at $6,000, and anywhere between $10,000 - $50,000 in increments of $5,000
• This is protection for everyday belongings that are owned by the named insureds (think furniture, appliances, clothing, televisions, etc)
• A helpful way to think about this - If you turn your house upside down, the items that would fall out would be your contents
• Liability: offered at $100,000 - $500,000 in increments of $100k
• This is protection in the event that you cause damage to someone else’s property 
• All Jetty plans start at  $100k liability coverage included
• Loss of Use (Increased Limit): only offer up to $4k additional coverage
• Loss of Use is protection that would kick in if your home were to become uninhabitable due to a covered peril (such as your home catching fire)
• Medical Payments: offered at $1000, $3000, $5000
• This protects you from expenses if a guest is injured in your home and faces medical bills, even if you’re not “legally liable” (i.e., at fault)
• Ex: someone slips and falls on your carpet. Another example would be if your dog bit a visitor (assuming the dog is not an excluded breed - see the list below)
• Canine Liability Exclusion: automatically applied depending on state requirements, and cannot be added or removed
• Liability caused by a dog can be covered unless the dog is a restricted breed - in states that have this exclusion
• Restricted breeds: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Pit bull, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Presa Canario, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Great Dane, St. Bernard, Mastiff, Cane Corso, Siberian Husky, and Husky or Wolf mix, or any dog with a "prior bite history"
• Replacement cost: Automatically included at signup
• This impacts how you are compensated in the event you file a claim
• Portable Electronics Power-Up (Personal Electronics Blanket/PEB): offered at $1000, $3000, $5000
• Protects portable electronics (cellphones, laptops, tablets, etc) in more situations such as loss, theft, and even accidental damage whether it’s in or outside the home
• Valuables Power-Up (Blanket Personal Property): offered at $1,000 - $5,000 in increments of $1,000
• This is generalized protection for anything considered a Valuable (bikes, jewelry, designer clothes, music gear, etc)
• Similar to the Portable Electronics Power-Up, this protects these items in more situations such as loss, theft, and even accidental damage whether it’s in or outside the home
• Scheduled Valuables (Personal Floater Endorsement): offered with a max $50,000 per category, $100,000 total
• Itemized valuables protection
• The best way to protect items worth more than $5k or items that are very important (like engagement rings)
• Bed bugs coverage: automatically included at signup, and can be removed at your request
• This guarantees $300 to offset the cost of removing bed bugs if the member can verify this is a certified case with an exterminator
