Renter: How do Jetty Protect plans work?

Here goes something! Before we begin, we're required to remind you that the info below is a general guideline—specific limits of your renters insurance coverage can vary based on your plan (if you're a member). To view info about your personal coverage, head over to your Declarations Page, which you can also download for your records. 

As with most Renters Insurance policies, Jetty Protect plans come with four basic features or 'coverages':

• Contents coverage — i.e., protection if something happens to your things
• Loss of use coverage — i.e., financial compensation if your place becomes uninhabitable (and you need to seek alternative accommodations)
• Liability coverage — i.e., protection if you cause an issue and are financially responsible to someone else (like damaging someone else's property) 
• Medical payments to others coverage — i.e., financial compensation if you need to cover someone's medical bills (due to an incident on or near your property)

We call this Basic Renters Insurance.
