Once a Jetty Deposit is purchased and you have moved into your property, your bond is designed to remain in place for as long as you live at the property. Based on your scenario, you can find the best way to end your coverage below:
If you are moving out of your property, please submit a cancellation request on your account page. You will need to provide us with the last day of coverage (the last day you have access to the unit) and check all 3 boxes in order for the form to be submitted. Once your request is submitted, we will reach out to the property to confirm this information. We will provide an update on your request when the property responds, or the request expires (after 15 days), whichever comes first.
If you never signed a lease, ended up paying a cash deposit, or never moved in, Jetty will need confirmation from your property that this is true in order to close out your account and refund any payments processed. To initiate this process, you can submit a cancellation request on your account page. Once your request is submitted, we will reach out to the property to confirm this information. If your property confirms your bond can be cancelled, we will finalize your request and any applicable refunds will be issued.
